What is the purpose of a mobile isolation transformer?
Separation/isolation transformer: separates/isolates two separate electrical networks.
This separation prevents malfunctions on the isolated network from also disrupting the main installation. It also protects users from electrical risk by preventing shocks thanks to their design (an electrical shock occurs when a current passes through the human body).
A 1500VA mobile 230/230V isolation transformer
This transformer is equipped with a 3m NF/Schuko cable and a 230V output socket.
The size and weight of these transformers vary according to their power rating. The largest model in the range weighs 47 Kg.
Handles and feet integrated into the housing make it easy to move around. Designed for use in construction site conditions, it is particularly resistant to shock and handling, thanks to its butyl rubber outer casing. What's more, its IP54 rating makes it particularly waterproof.
It is equipped with a 10/16A 2P + T 230V NF socket, a 10/16A 2P +T 230V NF plug and a 3-meter Ho7RNF 2×1.5² cable.
This transformer is designed for very large installations and plants.
