WHAT IS 24 V LIGHTING?

A 24 V lighting lighting is designed to operate on 24 volts, a relatively low voltage (known as extra-low voltage).

As a reminder, voltage is determined by the formula: U = R x I

In this formula, U is the voltage (in volts), I is the current (in amperes) and R is the resistance (in ohms). You only need to know 2 of these values to determine the third. In France, the voltage distributed on the conventional electrical network is 230 V. This is a very dangerous voltage for human beings. It must therefore be transformed into a very low safety voltage: 12 or 24 volts to limit electrical risks.

ULTRA-LOW-VOLTAGE LIGHTING

With ultra-low-voltage lighting, you can enjoy high-quality, efficient light in complete safety. The very low-voltage lighting can be used to provide light in damp locations: disused buildings, outdoor worksites in wet weather, caves, etc. For example, 24-volt lighting can illuminate such places without endangering people. What's more, this type of lighting also offers a high degree of waterproofing and mechanical resistance, preventing the ingress of water or dust.

24V lighting balloons

Our 24V lighting balloons provide effective illumination over a large surface area. Our 24-volt floodlights: an exceptional lighting solution

We offer 3 models of 24V floodlights: ATEX 60W, ATEX 120W and ATEX Slamstar 90W. The ATEX 60W are small, lightweight floodlights that offer an exceptional lighting solution and excellent ergonomics. Choosing these floodlights means opting for a powerful 5,676 Lumens. If you're looking for even more power, our ATEX 120W model offers 17,000 Lumens. Finally, the Slamstar, available in 24V safety voltage, offers 3 independent 30W LED plates.

Our 24V safety transformers

Asmentioned above, in France, electricity is distributed at the high voltage of 230V. Dangerous for humans, this voltage must be lowered so that professionals can benefit from it in complete safety. To achieve this, safety transformers are available to convert convert 230V to 24V or 12V. At Labérine, we offer 4 safety transformers for professionals. The 2000VA 230/24V transformer is particularly popular for its 6 sockets, robustness and IP54 protection rating (protection against dust and water jets from all directions).

Our Lumaphore 24V range

Our 2 LUMAPHORE® 24V lighting solutions are ideal for illuminating construction sites, for example. The Lumaphore LED 230XL and Lumaphore LED 120L both offer elegant elegant, ergonomic lighting that you can easily mount on a tripod. And the power isn't lacking either: the 230 XL, for example, offers a lighting output of 34,400 Lumens, equivalent to an illuminated area of 1,200 m2. It's also a robust (IK10) and weatherproof (IP65) lighting solution.

24V reels and extension leads

Professionals always need extension cords they can trust to provide quality lighting. That's why Labérine offers you configurable extension cords that guarantee a constant safe voltage. You can opt for an extension cord with IP44 or IP67 protection. You may also want to consider a special professional reel.

Our 24V work lamps

To enable you to work in cramped or damp spaces, Labérine offers work lamps. These lighting solutions are efficient, safe and ergonomic. The Multiled 15W, for example, is a lightweight work lamp weighing less than 1 kg and offering 900 Lumens.
