Electrical distribution on your construction sites: a factor not to be neglected

Electrical distribution: a priority on the construction site!

On a professional construction site, whether indoors or outdoors, large or small, many electrical devices require a stable, reliable current to operate without risk, not only for their components, but also for their users. That's why it's vital to have a safe, well-distributed power supply for everyone, everywhere on the site. We offer a wide range of distributionOur products include electrical distribution cabinets (with a wide choice of customization options), metering cabinets, safety transformers and isolation transformers, etc. Better electrical distribution will improve your performance by limiting time lost due to power problems.

First and foremost, it's vital to understand how your site's electrical distribution and installations work, how to improve them, and how they can enhance your performance and everyone's safety.

Why set up an efficient distribution system on your worksites?

Generally speaking, electrical distribution ensures that your equipment operateswithout any risk of malfunction or poor performance. Not only does this enable you to use your lighting to its full potential, it also extends its service life. It can be seen as a "shell", an additional protection for your electrical network and all the devices connected to it.

Cost reduction

In a context where the cost of energy is becoming increasingly important for construction sites, it's essential to set up efficient distribution systems that will reduce, or at least limit and optimize, your electricity consumption! What's more, since our isolation and safety transformers and rubber socket boxes are made from very robust, durable materials, your installation will last for years without having to replace the distribution. What's more, our equipment also enables you to monitor the electricity consumption of your installations in real time, such as the yellow tariff box for installations from 36 kVA to 250 kVA, or the blue tariff boxes for consumption up to 36 kVA.

Space optimization and safety

Having good electrical distribution on your worksite will also help you limit the space taken up by your various cabling and appliances. By organizing all your appliances around the same source, you'll avoid dragging out more cable and optimize space. This optimization also ensures greater safety by limiting the risk of people tripping or falling on the site. For example, on construction sites with frequent traffic, our cable crossings are highly efficient, withstanding loads of up to 6T/20cm², so they can accommodate all types of vehicles, pedestrians in abundance...

Limiting electrical risk

With the right distribution, you can drastically reduce the risk of malfunctions and the danger to your installations. For example, all our isolation transformers are equipped with powerful differential circuit breakers to limit damage and prevent repercussions on your appliances and the rest of your installation.

Our electrical distribution cabinet, customizable from A to Z!

Over the years, our range has expanded to include increasingly high-performance products, better designed for professionals in all sectors. Today, we are able to design distribution cabinets, metering cabinets and metering boxes 100% to measure. In fact, our entire range can be customized!

We can design your equipment from scratch, or start from a base and add various options, such as all brands of sockets/plugs (Marechal, Shucko, Powersafe...), differential circuit breakers, sockets with higher protection ratings, various specialized connectors for 24V/ATEX... and so on. It is also possible to customize the appearance and format of our cabinets to fit in with your infrastructure, as well as other features such as a carrying handle, lifting rings, a padlockable door or transparent polyester enclosure protectors...

Top priority for ATEX and 24V construction sites

Some professionals work in particularly demanding environments for electrical equipment, such as construction sites in damp/wet/submerged areas, or ATEX zones on construction sites (subject to explosive risks, ATEX stands for "explosive atmosphere"). Labérine, the ATEX and 24V expert since 1998, offers complete, reliable and safe solutions for these professionals.

ATEX distribution

Our specialized distribution range for ATEX worksites includes products such as 400VA 230V to 24V safety transformers, splitter boxes, metal or elastomer cable reels and extension leads (which can be customized to your requirements). This equipment will enable you to power all your ATEX lighting (they are necessary) in all zones. For example, you'll need a safety transformer to power an ATEX 60W 24V floodlight, and to connect several ATEX 150W floodlights to a single source without risk, you'll need a 230V splitter and ATEX extension leads . The splitter acts as a kind of isolation transformer, with more connections available.

24V distribution

To work safely in damp or confined spaces, it is essential to use 24V equipment that protects the installations and the personnel present in these areas from electrical hazards.

In order to supply lighting operating on 24V voltage, it is therefore necessary to transform the mains current (230V) to very low voltage (24V). This is achieved by means of a safety transformer, such as the 500VA safety transformer. We have a wide range of products to match our customers' needs. Our expertise also enables us to customize all our products.

For example, you canadd connectors to the 1000VA safety transformer, so you can plug in more products and provide a better lighting source. We also generally recommend 24V extension leads to accompany your electrical installation. In our 24V range, you'll also find everything you need to light up your site or installation, such as the 400W 12/24V LED lighting balloon, or the PRIMA 25W floodlight.
